The FASTCAM NOVA combines unique CMOS sensor technology with comprehensive expertise in high-speed digital imaging to provide a highly versatile camera. Available in four different models, the FASTCAM NOVA offers 12-bit recording at up to 16,000 frames per second at 1-megapixel resolution, with a maximum shutter speed of 0.2 microseconds. It can achieve recording speeds of up to 1,100,000 frames per second at reduced image resolutions.


FASTCAM NOVA R3-4K/R5-4K (NEW)
FASTCAM NOVA Series
The FASTCAM NOVA R3-4K and R5-4K combine unique CMOS sensor technology with extensive expertise in high-speed digital imaging to provide versatile cameras for a wide range of applications. Available in two performance levels, the FASTCAM NOVA R3-4K and R5-4K offer 12-bit recording at up to 750 fps and 1,250 fps respectively at 4K resolution. At UHD resolution, they deliver 800 fps and 1,440 fps respectively, with a shutter speed as fast as 2 microseconds. The FASTCAM NOVA R5-4K can achieve recording speeds up to 200,000 fps at reduced image resolutions.

The camera can achieve recording speeds up to 1,100,000 frames per second (subject to output control approval) at reduced image resolutions.
