The FASTCAM Mini WX100 high-speed camera delivers ultra-high-resolution performance, offering 2048 x 2048 pixels at 1,080 frames per second, Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels at 2,000 frames per second, and up to 80,000 frames per second at reduced resolutions. Its flexible Region of Interest (ROI) capability allows users to select the optimal aspect ratio for the subject being recorded.

The FASTCAM Mini WX is compact, lightweight, and rugged (tested to withstand 100G, 10ms, 6 axes). Its unique combination of high-resolution imaging performance within a compact, lightweight, and durable package makes it ideal for a wide range of industrial and scientific applications — particularly in biomechanics, microscopy, automotive safety testing, and defense research.
The FASTCAM Mini WX utilizes Photron’s proprietary CMOS image sensor design expertise, incorporating on-chip micro-lens technology to optimize light sensitivity. The camera delivers high-resolution images with broadcast-quality sharpness, excellent color fidelity, and a wide dynamic range. Recording memory options from 8GB to 32GB allow for up to 10 seconds of uncompressed, artifact-free recording at 1,000 fps with full HD resolution.
Standard operational features of the FASTCAM Mini WX include a mechanical shutter that enables remote system calibration, a Gigabit Ethernet interface for reliable system control and high-speed data transfer to a PC, and the ability to disable the cooling fan to eliminate vibration during high-magnification recording.
